trainee & student days - WICM GmbH was there
On March 13 and 14, 2026, young people had the opportunity to learn firsthand about the wide range of training and degree programs offered by a diverse array of regional and national companies, private and public vocational schools and universities, as well as government agencies and institutions.
A total of 130 local companies participated. Over 10,000 people visited the RMCC over the two days.
Visitors could also get information at the booth of Wiesbaden Congress and Marketing GmbH (WICM GmbH). WICM presented itself at the education fair together with TriWiCon Holding as a provider of vocational training and degree programs in the event and tourism industry.
The booth was organized and staffed by our dual-track students and trainees themselves. Over the two days of the fair, they provided valuable first-hand insights into the various opportunities offered by WICM GmbH/TriWiCon and what makes the training program so exciting. Interested visitors could also tour the RMCC directly during a guided tour, giving them the opportunity to get to know their potential future training location firsthand.
WICM GmbH provides training
WICM GmbH/TriWiCon currently offers five apprenticeship programs and two dual degree programs. Some of these programs will not resume until 2027. The opportunities are diverse. It’s worth taking a look.
- The event management apprenticeship, as well as a dual degree program in this field, is completed at the three major event venues: RheinMain CongressCenter, Kurhaus Wiesbaden, and Jagdschloss Platte.
- The counterpart, the tourism and leisure specialist, learns to organize tourism-related programs and trade show appearances, participates in events, and advises customers at the Tourist Information Office on their stay in Wiesbaden—to name just a few of the diverse tasks.
- Creative and technically skilled individuals will find opportunities in the fields of media design and event technology. TriWiCon also trains IT specialists in system integration and electronics technicians in energy and building technology.
These apprenticeship programs can generally also be completed on a part-time basis.
