The focus in 2026 will be on continuing the ambassador campaign "So gesehen ist Wiesbaden ganz schön WOW!" (Seen (opens in a new tab) this way, Wiesbaden is pretty WOW!), new eye-catching advertising formats, and, for the first time, an international marketing campaign in cooperation with the GNTB's international offices in Denmark, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.

The internal ambassador campaign "So gesehen ist Wiesbaden ganz schön WOW!" (Seen this way, Wiesbaden is pretty WOW!) was launched in September 2025 and will be consistently developed further in 2026. Cross-media advertising materials and campaigns are planned that will have a direct impact on the cityscape and people's everyday lives, including wall posters in Wiesbaden, bus advertising, radio, social media, a mobile picture frame, and live events. This will be supplemented by a radio campaign on Antenne Wiesbaden and cinema advertising.

A special highlight in 2026 is the planned international marketing campaign: Together with the German National Tourist Board (DZT), the partner network is implementing cross-media activities as part of the City Life campaign in the Danish, Swiss, and Dutch Seen (opens in a new tab) this way, Wiesbaden is pretty WOW!), new eye-catching advertising formats, and, for the first time, an international marketing campaign in cooperation with the GNTB's international offices in Denmark, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.

New spokesperson for the network

At the network meeting on February 18, members elected Thorsten Held, managing director of Weitblick Naturerlebnis GmbH (opens in a new tab)—which also owns the Neroberg climbing forest—as the new spokesperson for the Wiesbaden partner network. At the same time, the network expressed its sincere thanks to Urs von Kellenbach, hotel manager of Motel One Wiesbaden, who has shaped and developed the network's work with great dedication over the past two years.

"I am very pleased about the trust placed in me and look forward to further advancing the strong community in the partner network. In 2026, we want to present Wiesbaden with visible, modern formats in the city – and, together with the GNTB, for the first time also in important foreign markets," says Thorsten Held, spokesperson for the Wiesbaden partner network.

About the partner network

Founded in early 2024 under the organizational leadership of Wiesbaden Congress & Marketing GmbH (WICM), the network brings together key players who help shape Wiesbaden as a tourism and convention destination and focuses on exchange, cooperation, and joint projects to raise the city's profile in a sustainable manner.

The partner network provides a space for exchange between the various sectors to strengthen and clearly position Wiesbaden as a city tourism destination and a venue for events such as congresses, trade fairs, conferences, and cultural events. In addition to promoting exchange and cooperation, the aim is to participate in various trade fairs and initiate image-promoting campaigns for Wiesbaden as a location.
