City cycling
In 2026, the city of Wiesbaden participated in City Cycling for the 13th time. The three-week period during which cyclists could work together to rack up as many kilometers as possible ran from May 31 to June 20, 2026. TriWiCon / WICM GmbH also participated in City Cycling.
The days were getting longer, and temperatures were rising—nearly ideal conditions to kick off the biking season! From May 31 to June 20, 2026, teams pedaled for climate protection and quality of life.
Employees of TriWiCon and WICM GmbH participated in “Stadtradeln” and collectively covered 2,749 kilometers by bike during the campaign period—nearly 1,000 kilometers more than in 2025—sending a strong message in support of environmental protection. In total, the team—consisting of ten cyclists—completed 136 rides, saving 450.9 kilograms of CO2.
The employee who cycled the most kilometers covered a total of 911.4 kilometers, saving 149.5 kg of CO2 in the process.
Through our efforts, we want to show that the joy of cycling and the pursuit of eco-friendly mobility can go hand in hand, and with this project, we aim to contribute to sustainable mobility in Wiesbaden.
About CITY CYCLING
"STADTRADELN" is an international campaign organized by Climate Alliance Services and a competition that challenges participants to make as many everyday trips as possible by bike in a climate-friendly way. It doesn’t matter whether you already ride every day or have rarely used a bike in the past. Every kilometer counts—especially if you would otherwise have driven that distance by car.
