City cycling

Last year, the city of Wiesbaden took part in city cycling for the twelfth time. The three-week period, during which cyclists could collect as many kilometers as possible, lasted from 25 May to 14 June 2025. WICM GmbH also took part in city cycling.

The days grew longer and temperatures rose—perfect conditions to kick off the cycling season! From May 25 to June 14, 2025, you could pedal for 21 days, either alone or as part of a team, to promote climate protection and quality of life.

Whether you cycle rarely, occasionally, or daily, you could join an (urban) team and log the kilometers you cycled for three weeks! By participating, you supported Wiesbaden on its way to a better cycling climate and made a sustainable contribution to climate protection, better air quality, and quieter streets.

On the website linked below, you could register as a team or join an existing team. The kilometers you cycled could be easily recorded using the City Cycling app. The app automatically recorded the routes via GPS and assigned the kilometers to your team and your municipality.

If you have any questions or problems with data collection or adding data, please feel free to contact the organization team by email at stadtradelnwiesbadende

Through our commitment, we want to show that the fun of cycling and the pursuit of environmentally friendly mobility can go hand in hand and make a contribution to environmentally friendly mobility in Wiesbaden with this project.

The employees of TriWiCon and WICM GmbH took part in City Cycling 2025 and together covered 1,829 kilometers by bike during the campaign period, almost 500 more than in 2024, thus sending a strong signal for environmental protection. In total, the team of eight cyclists completed 87 journeys, saving 299.9 kilograms of CO2.

The employee who cycled the most kilometers covered a total of 807 kilometers, saving 132.3 kg of Co2.
